What is Parkinson’s Disease?

Every year, nearly 90,000 Americans are diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease. Over 10 million people suffer from this debilitating disease worldwide. Parkinson’s Disease is a progressive neurodegenerative disorder caused by the degeneration of the substantia nigra (midbrain). Parkinson’s can cause a variety of symptoms, from tremors to cognitive difficulties.

What is Dining For a Cure?

On October 7th, 2023, Dining For a Cure will hold an elegant dinner to benefit the Michael J Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s research. The event will be held at The Knights of Columbus in Saratoga Springs, NY. All money made will go directly to the Michael J Fox Foundation. There will be several raffle baskets, a cash bar, a 50/50 raffle, live speakers, live music, and a fully catered meal. Tickets are $50, and all people interested in attending should click the RSVP button below to purchase their tickets. Whether you are connected to Parkinson’s disease, or you simply want to show your support, join us for an elegant event with hopes of ending this awful disease.
